Learn to teach Aerial Yoga in a nurturing and supportive small group setting (maximum of 6 students).
This Aerial Yoga Teacher Training will provide you with the foundations to share aerial yoga practice in a welcoming, inclusive and accessible way, based incorporating the ethics of yogic philosophy.
This training is Body positive, trauma informed and neurodiversity friendly!
50 hours, fully live and in person, you will receive lots of individual support to help you find your voice as a teacher. There will many opportunities for practice teaching, class planning and sequencing, adapting practice for pre and post natal students, bigger bodies and older adults. You will leave this training ready to start teaching, but also with a foundation of aerial yoga knowledge that can continue to grow and evolve as you do.
Prerequisites
This course is designed as continuing education for qualified yoga teachers and will be registered with Yoga Australia for CPD.
If you already hold a 200+ hour yoga teacher training certification prior to completing our 50 hour Aerial Yoga Teacher training, you will become a certified Aerial Yoga Teacher upon completion of this course.
This 50 hour course alone, does not qualify you to teach aerial yoga classes.
We welcome those who are not yoga teachers but qualified in other complementary fields (eg Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Pilates) to take this training to enhance their offerings within the scope of practice of their current qualifications.
While this training follows trauma informed principles, we also recommend you take additional trauma informed training if you plan to work with this population.
You are also welcome to take this training purely for your personal development but please note it is designed as continuing education for qualified yoga teachers and is structured as such.
