Mat Pilates builds core strength, enhances flexibility and improves postural awareness. You will use your breath, your own body weight and small props like the theraband to build muscle tone, improve balance and stretch out tension. Pilates is a mind body exercise that uses breath awareness and precise physical focus to calm and centre the mind. Pilates can be used heal injury and is safe pre and post natal but always let the teacher know of any special needs before the class begins.
