AntiGravity Yoga

AntiGravity Yoga  decompresses the spine, tones your entire body, enhances co-ordination, literally reverses the effects of gravity and makes you feel amazing as you flip, fly and hang in your hammock.

It’s so empowering to see these graceful sequences demonstrated and then feel your own body guided through them step by step, taking you into positions that looked impossible only moments ago. Your ability to balance sthira (effort) and sukha (ease) is enhanced as you learn to stay calm and present even as your world turns upside down!

Best of all, you get to end the class in the most blissful savasana ever, as you lay cradled by your hammock in cocoon pose.

I was luck enough to recently complete my teacher training with Christopher Harrison (the creator of AntiGravity Yoga), and am now an apprentice teacher. If you’d like see AntiGravity yoga in action, check out this video, these photos and this post.
